Hello everyone!
I've decided to add this blog to my WIP list. It's been a little neglected because I've been a little frustrated, but no longer! I will learn as I go along!
This is my first week as a SAHM. My 5yo is in school but my 3yo is with me (asking if it's time to get his brother from the bus ALL day!). We try to do something fun everyday but then big bro gets jealous. Luckily for me trips to Target and the grocery store still constitute a good time...long as a trip to the park is thrown in for good measure :o)
On to the knitting....
Right now I'm making hats for the boys from the Rowan Junior book. I'm loving working with the All Season's Cotton. Next on my list is this. I've got some Kureyon waiting in the wings for that one. While I was at it I got a couple of skeins for a hat for DH but I guess there are trace amounts(or whatever)of purple in it and apparently a grown man can't wear purple, however small the amount!
Fine by me. It will make a perfect felted bag...;o)
Went here last night for a knit nite and had an awesome time. I really like that place. I got some work done on my hat and enjoyed some really good conversation with my fellow knitters. The bubble tea wasn't bad either!

I hope you'll be enjoying being a SAHM. I'm a SAHM to my 18 month old daughter. It's rewarding, but there are days...that's where knitting saves the sanity.

Your blog really does look good! I love the little mood icon. I've been wanting to add one but have been to lazy to figure it all out.
I have the Rowan Junior book too. There are some great patterns in it.
My husband is funny about colors too. Have fun with the felted bag!
